When I got home from the funeral I read about the capture of Radovan Karadzic, and saw footage of some of the genocide that he himself instigated so recently, so near to Poland. Serbia has hunted him down, it is said, because it wants to join the EU. But the European Union is not so fussy as it once was. Virulently racist populist politicians hold significant power now in Central and Eastern Europe, and the modern, expand-at-all-costs EU is not bothered by that at all.

Cóż, kiedy czyta się takie brednie jako fakty, to już nie jest trudno uwierzyć, że Żydzi zjadali niemowlęta zabijane podczas rytualnych mordów...
I na dodatek ichniejsza "komisja etyki" nie widzi nic "zdrożnego" w tym artykule...

Giles Coren udowodnił, że jest idiotą, na co zwrócił mu nawet uwagę niejaki Gennady Estraikh (zwróćmy uwagę - uczony, zajmujący się stosunkami ludności do Żydów w Centralnej i Wschodniej Europie), ale facet tkwi w błędzie. Mam "cichą" nadzieję, że odwołanie do decyzji zostanie sensowniej rozpatrzone - a jeśli nie, to wypadałoby to pociągnąć dalej. A z synagogą i Wielkanocą to jak w tym kawale - nie samochody, a rowery i nie rozdają, a kradną. Co więcej, reszta artykułu jest podobnie idiotyczna, łącznie z kawałkiem o palących kobietach.
